Other Covenants in Britain

Hastula

N. Wales

Augustus, Quinta, and Flavian* of Ex Miscellanea, Maximian* of Merinita

Hastula, as an entirely non-Roman covenant, is mistrusted by FA. While they are interested to see the magi of Hastula appearing more Roman than Roman, they believe it is a front to cover for more sinister intentions. They will remain neutral towards Hastula, though, as long as Hastula supports traditional Roman values and the Code at tribunals. Possible actions include inviting members of Hastula to FA for a season to keep a closer eye on them, and further investigation of proceedings at the covenant.

Chasmata

Loch Choire

Funestus, follower of Tytalus; Fervidus, follower of Flambeau; Callidus, follower of Verditius; Nomen, follower of Criamon; Giotto, follower of Mercere

A curious covenant, and one to be watched but with no degree of urgency. Any covenant whose aims include the killing of exotics can't be all bad, and it has a commendable lack of non-Roman magi, though the doubtful backgrounds of the magi there mean that full trust cannot be a reality. FA will appear friendly to Chasmata and will be open to cooperation.

Scopulis Vocis

Ailsa Craig

One of the most mysterious covenants in the tribunal, FA can't seem to decide on their attitude towards it. Founded by non-hermetics, before the founding of FA, it aroused suspicion alleviated only by the seeming control by Gaius. Since then, the disappearance of Roman magi and the peculiar tales of it, perhaps indicate a non-hermetic plot, but there is no evidence, and Darius of Tytalus slaughtering exotics is approved of, though Secunda is a worry. Iustus, filius Aequi, is to investigate. With the new influx of members, all Roman magi, FA will support the newly revitalised covenant, but warily, and look to SV to provide a support for orthodox policies at the next tribunal.

Sabula Mutantionis

Isle of Wight

Aleanus*, follower of Bjornaer; Candida, follower of Bonisagus; Medine, follower of Ex Miscellanea; Vodor, follower of Bjornaer; Cryshank, follower of Mercere

What a Bonisagus is doing in a hive of hedge wizards and shapeshifters is not known, but should be determined, and if possible rectified. Possibly by inviting Candida to join FA if necessary, otherwise to weaken SM to the point of collapse. Investigations may take place into sources of income and possible sabotage. FA might then be in a position to force their hand to stricter adherance to Roman traditions, or to destroy the covenant altogether.

Lacuna Fulgida

Isle of Skye

Julius of Guernicus; Calhaem* of Ex-Misc, Megan of Ex-Misc, Cameron of Ex-Misc, Volantis of Bjornaer and Augustus of Merinta

While there is a Quaesitor at Lacuna Fulgida, FA will remain neutral but deeply suspicious, not only of the non-Romans there, but of the Quaesitor himself who lives with them all. Not a top priority, especially while Julius lives, but should he step out of line or allow others there to break the Code (and they will be watched carefully) FA will come down very hard.

Umbra Mystica

Yorkshire Dales

Garrula*, follower of Tremere; Luke, magus Ex Miscellanea; Nextor, follower of Criamon; Vulcanius, follower of Flambeau; Marian, follower of Jerbiton; an ungifted Mercere

A covenant dominated by Romans (with the unfortunate addition of Luke Ex Misc) is to be welcomed across the Pennines and we should support them as long as they remain true to the tradition.

Hollybrook

Cornwall

4 Diedne

The Diedne are secretive and uncommunicative, and because of the this, highly dangerous, both to the tribunal and the Order. That this covenant is solely Diedne makes it even worse, and its destruction is the priority of FA. Aequus has been keeping (and will continue to keep) an eye on it for possible violations of the Code, and will inform Scelus and Livia of any potential weaknesses they might wish to exploit. Destruction by March is the preferred solution, but any way to rid the tribunal of these filthy Druids and demon tainted is acceptable.

Winchester

Delilah* of Criamon, Eleanor and Samuel Black of Ex Misc, Quintus Caecilius Nero of Tremere, and Lucius of Tytalus

Delilah is quite liked at Flamma Aeterna, but they are greatly concerned at her foundation of a covenant in Winchester. Primarily it is the presence of two Ex-Miscellenea which worries them, but also they worry that they could be tempted to break the Code. Scelus and Aequus will be keeping an eye on them. Not perceived as a threat, as yet, nothing will be done, but should they grow in power, the possibility of sabotage or weakening and the recruitment of any of the Roman magi seems a reasonable option.
